Topic: Building offline-first digital products in an online world
This session aims to cover the journey taken by the Express team in building an offline-first digital product. It is commonplace for digital products to be “”connected”” by definition – This is a journey that we undertook the flip the connectivity paradigm. This is among the few products in the market that is fully offline capable. As Zeta grows in young and yet-to-mature markets, connectivity is not assured. The Zeta fraternity can draw from our learnings from this journey that we have taken to reimagine digital products in an online-world.
This session will cover the context to the problem space, the story behind the need, the impact we set out to deliver, and the key product decisions that we had to make. The session would end with a quick demo of the offline POS.
